Your Doctor is a Carpenter and He’s Screwing You

Or is he hammering you?
Awl in awl, during this past generation, you’ve
become his tool to greater wealth. Your physician
has become a co-conspirator in a scam which has
broken the spine of America’s health care system.

Think carefully. Each time you walk out of your
physician’s office, you do so with a presecription
in your hand. Something wrong with this scenario?
Did you physician discuss your diet? Does your healer
even consider that the wrong foods might be the
cause of your illness, and the right foods might
represent the cure?

Doctors are human. When tempted by under-the-table
cash payments, free vacations, Rolex watches, and
other freebies, they subordinate their primary goal
of caring for you to caring for the perks of their
trade.

Does this mean that all doctors are cretins?
Of course not! Just most of them.

Pharmaceutical companies offer bribes to doctors
when they write prescriptins for medications.
Drug companies make fortunes on their overinflated
prices. Doctors get kickbacks for medication which
often does the patient more harm than good. And you?
The pill popper’s health becomes compromised
as symptoms are treated while simple dietary cures
are ignored. There’s no cash flow for doctors
who advise the cure given by Hippocrates:

“Let food be thy medicine.”

After recognizing that the healthcare system is rotten
to the core, one health care provider filed a suit
this month which is designed to shake the vultures off
their lofty tree perches.

Blue Cross of Texas is suing Pfizer, Pharmacia & Upjohn
Pharmaceuticals for paying kickbacks to doctors. One of
Blue Cross’s claims is that doctors routinely prescribe
unneeded drugs illegally for non-approved uses through
the existing system of bribes.

In September of 2009, Pfizer settled a series of
similar class action suits and paid $2.3 billion
because of its unethical promotions of Lyrica
(used to treat seizures), Bextra (used to treat
pain and inflammation) , and Geodon (used to treat
depression and psychotic behavior).

Doctors are doing a serious disservice to their patients
and this kickback system should be eliminated. Sadly,
the largest lobbying group in America is the American
Medical Association (AMA). Members of Congress are
willing participants in this scam and their acceptance
of PAC donations from doctors and pharmaceuticals
helps to insure your ill health.
