QUESTION: We’ve discovered sawdust on our front porch and have figured out that carpenter ants are invading our home. Would you happen to know of anything natural that might be helpful to get rid of these pests? I did an online search and it mentioned using vinegar or peppermint to help…am doing that now and also putting out cornmeal too. Still seeing the sawdust….any suggestions would be appreciated!
ANSWER:
Diatomaceous earth. It has diamond shaped molecules that prick the ants shell (or any other hard-shell or skinned insects) and they dehydrate and die! Also, if you can find the ant pile, just put diatomaceous earth on it…
Aspartame (NutraSweet) that POISONUS CRAP in the blue packages you find at coffee shops, etc. was originally formulated as ant poison! Just dump a package or two in their path and it will kill them… and they will take it back to the hive/ant hill and it will kill the entire colony!
