BULLETIN ITEM: Mother Of All Storms Now Slamming Into PNW (9.18.10)

Something incredible in happening in the North Pacific. Two huge involuted gyres have formed out of the Jet Stream accross the North Pacific and are free-wheeling independently. They are acting together to convey a mass flow of western Pacific wet marine air to the East onto North America. The eastern-most gyre is now beginning to threaten the Pacific Northwest.
At the moment only the outer edges of a vast hurricane style gyre have reached landfall along Oregon, Washington, and BC. A huge gyre has formed in the Gulf of Alaska , an involuted portion of the Jet Stream, which is accelerating air mass flow up to Hurricane strength levels. Portions appear to be moving more rapidly than the wind stream around Hurricane Igor in the Atlantic, which is currently at Cat. 3.
Those in the PNW face at least a full week of large quantities of rain and some very very heavy winds, perhaps record-breaking levels of wind. It is going to be a very wet and probably Sunless Equinox. Hurricanes are not said to occur this far north in the Pacific, but this huge gyre looks pretty much what a huge hurricane in the North Pacific would look like in the early stages of formation. Shrums in the PSW should be great right around October 1.

Meanwhile in the heavens, the Sunspot Count has risen as of yesterday to 46 ON RISING FLUX 86…..
SO STIMULUS FROM ABOVE PROBABLY STILL IS RIIIIIIIISSSSSSING!
In the Atlantic, the low loop in the Jet Stream flowing over the Appalachians is tearing Julia apart whilst it continues to hold Igor at bay. NOAA should give up on its projected flow cones, they are flat wrong. Igor is actually at the moment being ripped by the Jet Stream with counter-flow pull, radically lopping off its outer envelope. A radically shrunk Igor is likely to hit the Leeward Islands in a couple of days and may rapidly decay into just another storm.
Meanwhile Karl at Cat. 3 has formed up out of the shores of the Yucatan and is now centered over Southern Mexico. I have never heard of hurricanes forming up as they hit land. The exact opposite is usually the case, the ‘cane is strongest out to sea and weakens just as its outer bands begin to strike land. The physics of these are well understood, Karl is a definite anomaly and seems not credible.
IF it is possible to do large-scale weather modification with the likes of HAARP or satellites, this is where I would look for the existence of a trail.
It looks like Karl could become a major benefactor to the PSW. It is perfectly positioned to bring some rain this way. Crossing my fingers for this one.
