Natural Safe Tips to Avoid Mosquitos

Other than uncomfortable, mosquitoes also spread some viruses such as West Nile Virus and parasites that kill pets like heartworm. And extermination of mosquitoes using chemicals are less secure because they contain toxins that are harmful to grass, pets or even be able to interfere with our health.
Several ways to avoid mosquitoes is with something that mosquitoes are not preferred.
-Yellow light bulbs. Mosquito and other flying insects are creature who does not like orange-yellow lights. You can put it in patio lamps for use when evening arrived until the morning.
-Dark colored clothes. Wear dark colored clothes to avoid attracting mosquitoes to come to us. You can wear it when working in the yard.
*Use natural products to eradicate mosquitoes such as:
-Bacillus thuringiensis (BT) to kill larvae in the water. The water that needs to be added BT such as pond water, fountain or birdbath. BT can be obtained at gardening stores. BT also can be mixed with natural pyrethrins and neem oil as a spray to manage fleas and ticks and to destroy any mosquito hideouts in hidden pockets of standing water.
-Neem shampoo used to bathe pets, Neem oil for skin to repelling mosquitoes and other insects. Neem has a strong odor, so testing it first is recommended.
-Citronella candles. Citronella oil from the candle will repels mosquitoes.
-Insect zapper can also be used as an option to zap mosquitoes.
