Mental Health Cheap Easy Way
Mental health becomes very important in today’s life with so many demands and problems in our lives, which indirectly also affect our physical health. But a new study provides a solution that is easy and inexpensive to maintain and improve our mental health.
A study by the University of Essex researchers at UK have found that exercise at least five minutes in the green of nature or in the park can improve improve self-esteem and mood as the indicators of mental health. Research has observed around 1,250 people who have been conducting activities such as walking, cycling, fishing, boating or horseback riding in a park, garden or nature trail can boost mood and self-esteem. Results have also shown that exercise in green space where there is water such as a lake or river, will give a better effect.
Research conducted by sex and age has given similar results between men and women, though men showed a difference for mood. Whereas for the age group has shown the good greatest changes of self-esteem occurred in the youngest. The great benefit can be gained by this green exercise as a self-medicate.
