Excerpt: The biggest risk of raw food isn’t what you’d think. It’s not poisoning from eating raw rhubarb, or a lack of protein, vitamin A or B12.
In order to understand the risk, we need to step back from the mere physical input to our systems (ie, food) & look at ourselves as complete entities.
Everything we put into our system affects us. Yes, food, but also thoughts, emotions, environmental factors – some obvious, toxins in the air etc, some less so – the energy of the people around us. Yep, energy.
Why? Well, look at our bodies. We’re an electrochemical (http://health.howstuffworks.com/human-body-make-electricity1.htm), biological, physical marvel. Electricity runs through our nervous systems, our hearts (hence using EKGs (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Electrocardiography) to measure them) our brains (EEGs (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Eeg) similarly, our entire body is pouring with minute electrical signals. What’s electricity? Energy (more or less, I am simplifying a little here).
