The researchers have tested the people with macular degeneration who ate a diet containing saffron began to experience cell recovery, which resulted in improved vision.
The others studies also have found that the compounds in saffron also very benefit to treat some 90 illnesses, protecting against cancer, preventing Alzheimer’s, and boosts immunity. According to a paper published in the British Journal of Gynaecology also mentions the benefits of saffron to treat premenstrual syndrome symptoms, including easing depression, irritability, and mood swings.
