Do your beliefs control your breathing?

I’ve been teaching Optimal Breathing Development (trained and certified by www.breathing.com) for quite a few years… and start each session, whether in a group or individual, with an EFT (Emotional Freedom Technique) session… sometimes 2 in a row … BEFORE we ever get into the breathing re-training. The vast majority of our breathing problems stem from emotional trauma or sometimes physical trauma that happened to us in our childhood… in other words your BELIEFS control what’s happening to you, rather than the other way around. I find the EFT sessions to be extremely beneficial to open the door to dumping old beliefs and allowing new ones (improved breathing) into our lives!
How you breathe during the day translates into how you breathe when you sleep – so learning to breathe better can also translate into better sleep !
