Just as in Part I of affirmative prayer if you don’t have time to fully read this with no distractions, I ask you to close this and read it later. It deserves to be completely read and digested to get the full impact.
In every prayer there must be a believability factor. In Part II we will explore what this factor is and how to achieve it. The second affirmative prayer is powerful and is an affirmation of something you already know on a spiritual level but many times have trouble really believing it. Once again, it is short and cuts to the chase. It is six words and should be said whenever you desire to feel the presence of the universal creator draw near. It is…
“God, I know you love me.”
I realize some of you may stumble over this because there are a lot of you who simply don’t believe that God can love you or that God loves only the perfect people more than you. News Flash! There is no perfect person. This is an absolute truth.
Now, that we have that out of the way understand that God does love you completely with every flaw and issue you may have. Because we have a tendency to think of God as a singular being with arms and legs and a white beard up in the sky somewhere we would wonder how God’s attention and presence could be with us every second of our lives. Can God be with millions of people at the same time? The answer is yes.
All of the affirmative prayers that I will be teaching you are said in the present tense. It is important that you remember this. Even if you don’t believe it at the time say it anyway.
“God, I know you love me.”
God’s energy and presence flows through all of us. Yes, Even the least of us and the most flawed are loved by God. The very person you are judging as horrible and that should never have been born is loved by God. Every blade of grass is blessed by God. Those pesky deer that nibble at your garden are loved by God. That neighbor that you wish would disappear is loved by God. Every person in the grip of some kind of addiction is loved by God. Every person who ever lied to you or betrayed you is loved by God. Every person suffering from a grave illness is loved by God. If you have a simple headache even then you are loved by God. If you are depressed and feel all alone, you are not alone! If you have cursed God and turned your back when you were traumatized and suffering, God is still there and loved you even then.
There is never a time that God does not love you!
I repeat there is never a time that God does not love you!
It is way past time that you finally get this. You are being compelled to see and know thyself as the spiritual being that you are.
Some people tell me that they feel uncomfortable when they pray especially if it has been a long time. These short affirmative prayers are statements in fact and get you back to where you need to be instantly. Even if you think that God could not possibly love you say it anyway. Soon, you will start to feel the truth of this statement in your heart and soul. It is true. God does love you. Now, get busy and just say it.
“God, I know you love me!”
Have you ever loved someone and they didn’t believe you? It is very frustrating to love someone with all of your heart and they just don’t believe you could love them that much. They see all their flaws and imperfections and consider themselves unworthy of your love. You, on the other hand see them in a different way altogether. If they could just see themselves as you see them. If they only knew about all their good qualities, gifts and talents that are so apparent to you. It makes you feel a little crazy. As you lift them up they tear themselves down just as quick. The good thing is that with God is infinite patience, infinite love and guidance in every moment. Square those shoulders back and lift up that chin and dry your tears because…God does love you! It is time you knew it too!
